THE TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON by John Patrick Based on the novel by Vern Sneider Directed by Ron Nakahara Sakini, an Okinawan interpreter, and the villagers of Tobiki teach American G.I.'s the true meaning of friendship and democracy in this gentle and ironic look at post WW II Japan. Starring Ernest Abuba, who is an Obie award winner for the popular Pan Asian production of Yellow Fever.
