THE TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON by John Patrick Based on the novel by Vern Sneider Directed by Ron Nakahara Sakini, an Okinawan interpreter, and the villagers of Tobiki teach American G.I.'s the true meaning of friendship and democracy in this gentle and ironic look at post WW II Japan. Starring Ernest Abuba, who is an Obie award winner for the popular Pan Asian production of Yellow Fever. Mr Abuba has also been seen on Broadway in such productions as PACIFIC OVERTURES, LOOSE ENDS, and ZOYA'S APARTMENT, off-Broadway in CHANG FRAGMENTS and THREE SISTERS, and last seen in the movie TWELVE MONKEYS.Also Starring Scott Klavan, last seen in THE JOY LUCK CLUB, as Capt.
